That group marks the first round of performers at the show that’s hailed Country Music’s Party of the Year. Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks, per the Academy’s announcement. Reba McEntire will also perform “brand new music during the show,” she gushed as she was revealed as the host of the evening. McEntire is hosting the ACM Awards for the 17th time this year, more than any other artist. The beloved country star and 16-time ACM Award winner said in a statement last week that she’s “tickled to pieces to get to host the ACM Awards for the 17th time!”

Some of the performers are also among the top nominees of the evening. Nominations kicked off on The Bobby Bones Show, and revealed some of the biggest artists up for Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Duo of the Year, Group of the Year and other major categories. See the full list of 59th ACM Award nominees here.

The show is set to return to Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, the world headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys, leading up to the milestone 60th year in 2025. This year’s ACM Red Carpet will kick off at 7 p.m. EDT/6 p.m. CDT/4 p.m. PDT. The show is set for Thursday, May 16 at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT.
